Characters are the heart of every story.

I am a graduate of Lesley University with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy. I am currently working on my first novel.

As a lifelong anime and comic book fan, I have seen the power of media in my personal life and through my work with clients as a clinician. My master’s thesis, “Parasocial Relationships with Fictional Characters in Therapy,” is published through Digital Commons and my work has been quoted in various articles about pop culture.

While writing, I use my education and my personal experiences to create characters with real emotions and intentions during the course of their stories. Even though these characters are fictional, I want them to feel as real as possible and to create a world for readers to get themselves lost in, even for a little while.
